Turbulence 06:00
Flying solo Flying high At this altitude Surrounded by clear blue skies listening to voices from the past can pull you back way to fast this time travel is turbulent turbulent flying homeward flying low descending through those steel grey skies surrounded by sleet and snow surrounded listening to my head and my heart longing for the crowded past this time travel is turbulent flying solo flying low flying solo flying home

Light Show 04:16
I'm at the centre of a pulsing ameoba playing like I have a high fever I'm a shard of light a shadow a sham a flickering image for the guys in the stands I'm a light show I'm a light show floating in and out as the music plays scout I'm a light show I'm at the centre of a pulsing arena the crowd is baying like a cornered hyena the bands on the run which song do we play? shall we change our tune what price will we pay? (sink or swim mate sink or swim) I'm a light show
4.
Open the window let the air in walk out the door feel the early morning traffic hunker down on the tube avoiding the eyes of the thieves and the poets each has a world to sell each has a place to go follow all the stories in this city of the endless flow wannabe stars and their dark glass charisma avoiding the eyes of the thieves and the poets the thieves and the poets I do not seek I find

The siren always calls and I will always fall she has no many voices soprano sailing to jagged noises her voice becomes the air I am lost but cannot care she fills me with her voices her arms around me there are no choices the curse and the blessing is this the window or the dressing I'm wired for sound but like the dancer on the ground I dream of flying flying Floating along on a river of song I can't really say how long I'll be gone if the wind is right and the Moon is bright I'll be sailing all day and into the night into the night

Warm Blood 03:18
Getting up with a weary longing lying down with a mystery goin' out with a beastly banging comin' up with a place to hang in flying low over golden mountains swimming hard against the ripping tide running by all the early closing climbing up on a windy glide and it's messages that I'm getting and it's messages that I find and it's noises that I'm hearing it's all about just another lie and they're telling me that I should believe it and they're telling me that I should mind and it's white noise that I'm hearing it's bafflegab of every single kind bafflegab of every single kind And it's warm blood warm blood that I'm needing and it's warm blood warm blood that I'm needing
9.
Sing in the shadows let the light in hear all the voices from the thriving streets and choirs here comes my poet straining on the leash "The world must be listening to sounds I don't hear" your heads on a plate and the crowd is chanting this could be your fate to be smooth and charming Here comes my poet all dazed and crazed "I'm so glad I heard it I'm so glad I changed I'm changed I'm changed for the better a hopeless case now a legend unfettered released and fine!" She was young she was crazy in that musical way as soon as I heard her I wanted to stay I wanted to worship this shimmering soul to drown in her sound to fill up that hole that always needs filling to make up that whole...... Open the window let the air in walk out the door feel the early morning traffic follow all the stories in this city of the endless flow avoiding the eyes of the thieves and poets the thieves and the poets i do not seek i find I do not seek I find

Hum The Drum 04:42
The hum drum day is breaking once again I answer the ringing telephone and hear your echoing name the golden girl combs out her flowing hair each stroke a dance each smile a dare to pull me in to belonging there Hum the drum let the wind decide hum the drum let your courage glide let it glide let it glide The sound of planes descending through the day sighing overhead like lives never lead the siren song of longing everywhere the ocean waves are breaking in the rain I stumble on the path of sand and stone and hear your loving name alone
13.
Miles To Go 03:26
Miles to go on my journey home sounds light the way beautiful melancholy high display rhythms wrap around this woman cut the colour cry the song many miles to where i belong

about

An autobiography in song and interesting noises. An attempt to make sense of my music 'career; which has the usual highs and lows with enough 'Spinal Tap' and 'Commitments' episodes to amuse and entertain. Eddie Fielder is my altered ego, the voice of chaos amongst the long sought reason and clarity that I hoped to find through music. I found it through the making of music, but not, in the music business which eats it's young, then pronounces it's innocence. Let's add another layer, the stealing of music on the 'net, which suggests that it is indeed true, most people do not value or even understand creativity that well. Moan moan, winge winge. So why does anyone continue make music when no one is listening or it's being stolen, this is the basic question behind all this. Because it's fun, and I have no choice, I have to create music the way I have to breath, all the effing time.
